Lactation Depot ships products throughout the United States in accordance with insurance requirements, prescription requirements, and inventory availability.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are processed during normal business hours.
Processing times may vary depending upon:
• Insurance verification
• Prescription receipt
• Medical documentation requirements
• Inventory availability
• Manufacturer supply levels
INSURANCE ORDERS
Orders billed through insurance may require:
• Eligibility verification
• Prescription review
• Prior authorization
• Additional documentation
Shipment timelines cannot be guaranteed while documentation is pending.
SHIPPING TIMEFRAMES
Most in-stock orders ship within one (1) to three (3) business days following completion of all required documentation and approvals.
Delivery estimates are provided by shipping carriers and are not guaranteed.
ADDRESS ACCURACY
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Additional shipping charges may apply if:
• An incorrect address is provided.
• A package must be reshipped.
• A package is returned due to address errors.
DELIVERY CONFIRMATION
Carrier delivery confirmation shall constitute proof of delivery.
RISK OF LOSS
Ownership and responsibility for products transfer to the customer upon delivery to the shipping address provided.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Claims regarding lost packages must be reported within fifteen (15) days of the carrier's delivery confirmation date.
Lactation Depot will assist customers in initiating carrier investigations but does not guarantee reimbursement for carrier losses.
SHIPPING DELAYS
Lactation Depot is not responsible for delays caused by:
• Weather events
• Natural disasters
• Carrier delays
• Supply chain interruptions
• Government actions
• Manufacturer shortages
PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS
If inventory shortages occur, Lactation Depot may offer a substantially similar product of equal or greater value.
RESUPPLY ORDERS
Replacement pump parts and milk storage bag shipments are subject to:
• Insurance eligibility
• Prescription validity
• Manufacturer availability
• Plan-specific frequency limitations
